• Keep more money in the pockets of New Mexicans to counter the impact of inflation by:

  • Lowering the gross receipts tax

  • Repealing the tax cut for the wealthiest New Mexicans

  • Continuing the elimination of taxes on Social Security

  • Exempting income tax on military retirement   

• Reduce drug-related crime by adding more behavioral health and drug treatment centers in rural communities and small towns. 

• Fully fund education so we can hire and retain the best teachers.

• Make healthcare more affordable and reduce prescription drug costs and health insurance premiums.

• Protect reproductive freedom for women and access to safe and legal abortion.

• Elevate infrastructure as a top priority—including reliable, high-speed internet, improving watersheds for flood prevention and future use, and repairs to roads and bridges.
